Silicone Rubbers are d來土esigned

as no-post-cure, general-purpos錯那e

silicone rubbers. These 聽頻silicone

rubbers can be compounded w厭日ith

a variety of extending fillers or

blended with selec大雜ted bases to fabr車舊icate

parts with other h和服ardnesses

upon vulcanizat又月ion. They are s跳腦erviceable

range.

HOW TO USE

Vulcanizing Agents

Silastic NPC-40 and NPC-8大時0 Silicone

Rubbers require t市線he addition of a

vulcanizing agent. T catalyst (2,4什兵-dichlorobenzoyl

peroxide) is recommen村影ded

for hot air vulcanization.

V catalyst (2,5-bis[te校人rt-butylperoxy]-

2,5-dimethylhex廠師ane) or D catalys歌亮t

(dicumyl peroxide) is rec多議ommended

for molding.

Compounding

Silastic NPC-40 and NP到舊C-80 Silicone

Rubbers can be 很飛blended with other

bases and Silastic NPC-40 Silico兒站ne

Rubber can be extended with

fillers to modify the durometer弟謝 of

the compounds. Further, Sila音看stic

Heat Stability

Silastic HT-1 Modifier allows the

rubbers to be pigmented to almost

any color shade desired.

HANDLING

PRECAUTIONS

During vulcanization and oven cu吃妹ring,

vapors are given off that may

be harmful. Inhalation of vap區北ors

should be avoid近睡ed. Vulcanization

should be conducted i街鐘n an area

that is properly 房黃ventilated.

other tests deemed necessary for
